Day 16 of the 2025 Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

After the last two duds I needed a sure thing. Halloween H20 did the trick. This should have been the last movie in the franchise. It followed the story arc set up in Halloween 2 where Laurie is actually Michael's sister and does a much better job as portraying a grown up version of the character.

A young Josh Hartnett—who looks like the hair stylist used a dull weed-whacker on—plays Laurie's son, while LL Cool J, Adam Arkin, Janet Leigh, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt round out the cast. The one negative was Chris Durand as Michael...he just didn't look right.

This film had a very fitting ending for Laurie and Michael and I often wish it had been the end of the franchise.
