Day 3 of the 2026 Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

I'm starting to think I'm missing something about the recent super-hyped horror movies. Obsession was a good movie, but Michael Johnston's "Bear" portrayal was hard to watch. Whiny, wishy-washy, and completely spineless. If they had just made him a little bit likable, or more hatable, this would have been a great film.

Megan Lawless (Sarah), Inde Navarrette (Nikki), and Cooper Tomlinson (Ian) did everything they could to save the movie with outstanding performances, but I have a thing where I need to either love or hate the main character, but instead just found him annoying.

There were a lot of plot issues that just didn't make sense and I wonder if there were parts edited out that might have explained them. The creepiness of Nikki's character went a long way to keeping me invested in this one, but overall, it won't be one I'll be revisiting any time soon.
