The Little Things (2021) - Day 13 of the 2024 Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

This is another one that is probably considered a thriller or suspense movie, but it's close enough to horror for me. Denzel Washington and Rami Malek are great as the disgraced cop and the up-and-coming detective who work together on the case. But it is Jared Leto's brilliant performance as the main suspect that gives this movie such tension. Is he a murderous psychopath or just a nut-job that gets off being part of the investigation?

There a few drawn-out scenes that padded the length to just over two hours, but overall a gripping film. I'm giving it a B+ (streaming on Netflix).
