The Worst Stephen King Adaptation?

Why didn't anybody warn me?

I honestly don't understand how a movie like this even gets made. The writing was atrocious, the acting embarrassing at best, and the "special effects" were childish. This has officially taken the bottom slot for King adaptations in my opinion. And that's saying a lot since I've suffered through The Dark Tower, Sleepwalkers, and Maximum Overdrive.

Help me understand why this exists...
