Almost ten years in the making, but the story of Ben Harris and Greg Lupescu is finally complete. For those of you who have been (im)patiently waiting for the sequel, the wait is over. The rerelease of the original Eternal Darkness, as well as the hot-off-the-press sequel, Eternal Darkness II: Bloodlines are both available in ebook. The paperback edition of Eternal Darkness is also on Amazon with Bloodlines coming in the next couple weeks. Both paperbacks will also be available on my website later this month if you're looking for signed copies.
I love the new covers that Ben Baldwin designed, I think they perfectly capture the coming-of-age theme while clearly letting you know you're in for bloody vampire stories.
I struggled quite a bit with Bloodlines (hence the long wait) but I think, in the end, I got it right.
Vampires are up there among my favorite horror subgenre...when they're done right. 'Salem's Lot is the book that got me started on my horror writing journey and it remains one of the definitive vampire novels. My top ten list of favorite vampire novels (in no particular order):
'Salem's Lot by Stephen King
Dracula by Bram Stoker
They Thirst by Robert McCammon
Nestlings by Nat Cassidy
Enter, Night by Michael Rowe
Fevre Dream by George RR Martin
Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson
Children of the Night by Dan Simmons
Coffin Moon by Keith Rosson
What are some of your favorites???
