Day 22 of the 2025 Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

Why do I do this to myself? I knew going in this one would be bad. I knew it would be terrible. But there are bad movies, terrible movies, that can be fun to watch. Ones that are just campy and silly and fun. There are others, usually sequels, that just can't live up to the first movie. Sometimes they try too hard, or can't get the cast right, or the first movie is just too damn good to replicate.

Then there's Sleepaway Camp II. I picked this for two reasons. First, the eighty-one minute run time would mean I'd still have time to do something productive. Second, I knew any movie I watched after Sinners would be a disappointment. But I had no idea a movie could be so spectacularly bad.

Writing, acting, special effects...there is no redeemable quality that I can think of. Stay away from this one.
