Day 4 of the 2025 Halloween Horror Movie Marathon

Nothing like some good wilderness horror! The Wild, a 2023 camping/survival horror film was my pick for day 4 and it did not disappoint. Three friends decide to honor the memory of their friend who died while on their annual girls' camping trip...by going on a camping trip.

It is immediately clear that their friendship is not so friendly and each of them have secrets. Was their friend's death an accident? Who is the mysterious hiker camping nearby who keeps appearing?

There are some genuinely tense moments and the acting is stellar as suspicions grow between the three women. Some great twists and it keeps you guessing until the end. Highly recommended.
