Still Floating: 40 Years of Pennywise contributor Char Cocrane

Char Cocrane is a long-time friend of the horror community, having reviewed countless novels at Char's Corner and running the Horror Aficionados group on Goodreads. Interestingly, I met Char at a Stephen King Book Club that used to run out of Blue Umbrella Books in Westfield, MA (now, sadly, closed).

Knowing her love of Stephen King and her deep knowledge of the horror genre, I was thrilled to get her detailed take on IT for Still Floating!

Char's bio:

My parents used to bring me to “Dusk to Dawn” drive-in horror movie features when I was young. Perhaps that was what sparked my life-long love of horror? Starting with Poe and working my way through Lovecraft, Machen, King and Koontz to more contemporary writers like Keith Rosson, Joe Hill, Christopher Buehlman, Greg Gifune and many others; my tastes in dark fiction have changed over the years, but my love of it remains fierce. 

I’ve never written anything other than reviews, and a chapter of a book no one has ever read. I was humbled and grateful to be asked to contribute to this anthology, sharing my love of IT and the horror genre, in general. My thanks to Tom Deady for helping me cross this off my bucket list, and to Stephen King for providing me with so many hours of happy and horrific reading.
