Still Floating: 40 Years of Pennywise contributors Jamie Tinker and Jennifer Millar of SK Tours

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jamie and Jennifer via Zoom to talk about all things Stephen King and Bangor. They took over SK Tours a few years ago and have been expanding the business to include a book shop that also features some amazing Stephen King memorabilia, and now they're adding a Stephen King themed rental property that resides in the shadow of the Standpipe.

The interview went for an hour but I could have talked all day. Their knowledge of King, his work, and especially Bangor/Derry is unparalleled. I've had the pleasure of taking the tour several times, once with Jamie and a couple times with his dad, Stu, and it is something every Stephen King fan needs to do at least once.

More about SK Tours:

SK Tours was founded by Stu and Penney Tinker, the owners of the iconic Betts Bookstore in 2012. The husband and wife team of Jamie Tinker and Jennifer Millar took over SK Tours from Stu and Penney at the end of 2020, and they’ve been sharing their love of King and Bangor ever since. Now in its fifteenth year in business, SK Tours has become a destination for King fans from all over the world.

Whether you’re taking a tour, exploring on your own, or just passing through, please visit the SK Tours headquarters. They have a shop full of merchandise, books, and collectibles for sale, as well as plenty of King references and movie and TV props on display inside and out.

Please check out their website for current hours and contact information at https://sk-tours.com/.
